At the risk of entering into the too-much-information arena, I went for a wax this morning and was berated for not having enough hair. “You’re becoming hairphobic,” tutted my super-waxer Vera (from Sydney’s popular V Beauty salon). Aparently I am not alone. Her regular clients are becoming more regular (every two to three weeks rather than the old monthly rebook) - and having more body bits waxed each time. “As well as the usual requests, some clients are even asking for their whole stomachs, arms, hands and even toes to be waxed,” said Vera. Doesn’t sound like that occasionally talked-about Brazilian backlash is anywhere near here, huh?
