It’s such a cliché to say that Kate Moss is cool (like Cate Blanchett’s skin is translucent). But that’s only because it’s true. There’s just no other word so fitting. Despite her dodgy taste in boyfriends and not-so-healthy lifestyle, she just never puts one skinny-jeaned-leg or Balenciaga-booted-foot wrong. Which is why everyone is so excited about her upcoming fragrance (due for release here in the next two months-ish – I’ll get back to you when I have more details). Forget the fact that Kate herself may smell like vodka and cigarettes at 3 in the morning, she actually has great taste in fragrance herself. Two of her favourites are the exquisite Guerlain L’Heure Bleue and Penhaligon’s Bluebell (available at Rescu Beauty Bar). Her own concoction is a floral musk, said to express her sweetness, but also hint at her naughty rebellious side. And all without one single shot of a note of vodka.
