The second issue came out last week and, well I’m biased because I’m the beauty ed, but it’s definitely worth a whirl (you can buy it at Myer stores, as well as selected newsagencies, from $5.95). Becca’s launching what is already my product of the year. It’s a moisturiser, antioxidant treatment, primer and broad-spectrum sunscreen all in one, and it’s fabulous. It’s the Becca Mineral SPF Primer ($65, available from mid-September)…Makeup artist Lynda Jeffeyres gave me my latest favourite beauty tip: sweep a shimmery powder along shins to give lower legs sexy definition… Did you know selected Estée Lauder counters have cabines where you can treat yourself to a 30-minute stone thermal facial? It’s $50 – but that’s redeemable with purchase….speaking of Estée Lauder, its makeup artist, Kent Vaughan, whom I interviewed for the Lipstick Workshop feature, offers this gem of a tip tip: “By first applying foundation over the entire lip, you’ll be able to best recreate the true lipstick colour. It’s also another way to help keep lipstick on for longer.”… I could go on, but you could also buy the magazine.
