Have you noticed how much shininess is around at the moment? I think it all started with those sell-out French Connection sequin shift dresses a while ago - you know, the one that Mischa first wore. Now there are glittery things dripping off nearly every second summer dress you see, and Cue have those hot black paillete leggings (well, hot if you have super-skinny ultra-long legs, I guess, and ignore the fact that Victoria Beckham has a similar pair). And in the film clip for Feist’s song 1,2,3,4, she wears the cutest navy-blue sparkly jumpsuit.
Now, without wanting to scare you, I have to say it could be about to happen in beauty too. Anna Sui’s glittery look might make you look like you’ve whacked yourself in the eye with your glomesh bag - so you might want to start off subtle (well, as subtle as glitter can be) by wearing it as an eyeliner. Not that I feel like wearing glitter today.
