New skincare from Kosmea

December 2, 2007

You’ve heard of rose hip oil. Of course you have, seeing as every skincare company seems to now have some version of a rose hip oil treatment. The oil, as you probably know, is great for treating sun-damage, eczema and psoriasis, among other annoying complexion conditions, as well as generally giving skin a gorgeous glow.

Now meet rose hip oil’s sister: rose hip butter. Kosmea, which was the first company to introduce rose hip oil into Australia by the way, says that rose hip butter is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants. And now meet rose hip’s friend: immortelle, an oil that comes from a flower that lives under the rose hip bush. According to Kosmea, immortelle is a fantastic anti-inflammatory.

You can find the two new skincare ingredients starring in Kosmea’s latest Skin Clinic products: Rescue Body Cream and Rescue Balm. The former is great for soothing and smoothing skin top-to-toe, while the latter is one of those fab beauty-do-it-alls for everything for chapped lips to ragged cuticles to insect bites – but best of all, it’s free from those common chemical extras like petroleum jelly, or preservatives. Kosmea Skin Clinic Rescue Body Cream, $29.95, and Rescue Balm, $24.95, are available from Kosmea.
