I often have problems with foundation in photos. No matter how good it looks on the day, the photos somehow seem pale. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you could be using foundation (or moisturiser or sunscreen) containing zinc oxide – it’s a UV blocker and, no matter how microfined it is in real life, can often give off a pale hue in photos. For the most natural effect, I’d suggest you actually skip foundation altogether and try wearing little more than a couple of coats of fake tan, followed by concealer where needed (try Becca Compact Concealer, $58, from Myer or Adore Beauty, which comes in so many shades, you’re sure to find one that matches your tan).
