If your face flushes a lot, from pink to red, it’s likely an early sign of rosacea – click here to read more about how to keep it in check. If, however, a rosy skintone is your natural colouring, there’s nothing like a layer or two of fake tan to cover it up and even you out. Or, you could make it work for you and do the whole English Rose look – à la Liv Tyler.
As for your legs – dermatologists are saying that rosacea, an increasingly common complexion affliction, is also spreading to other parts of the body. But I’d see your GP first, and possibly also a naturopath, as perhaps it’s a reaction to medication or a food sensitivity. It could also be a sign of less-than-perfect circulation, so make sure you’re regularly dry body brushing and exercising, you’re eating well, and you’re not smoking.
