Can’t seem to keep the curl in your lashes? Try doubling up on your curling technique. First curl you lashes (clamp the lash curler at the base of lashes, pump a few times, then move along the lashes to encourage sweep and lift) and apply mascara, as usual. Once that coat has dried, you can repeat the process - just be sure that the mascara has completely set or else it will stick to the curler. Extra tip: use a waterproof mascara to best hold the curl in place.

Would the curling after mascara break the lashes off though? Since it’d be dry…and hard?

Hi Julie - Just go gently (and with a good padded eyelash curler) and you’ll be fine. I’ve seen many makeup artists do this plus I always do it myself, so you’ll be in good company! K x

Its also a good idea if you heat your eyelash curler with a hair dryer, if you want longer lasting effect!
