I’m a mum with four children. My skin is normal with few breakouts, but the lines and wrinkles are starting to show. What skincare would you recommend?

Wow, four kids. Hats off! My skin gets stressed enough and I only have a dog. Olay has some great products that deal with that tricky skin stage when lines are appearing, yet spots are still popping up: there’s the Total Effects Cleanser for Oily/Blemish Prone Skin ($12.99 from pharmacies) and the Total Effects Cream for Blemish Prone Skin ($29.99). They both contain the salicylic acid, an exfoliating agent that helps prevent breakouts as much as it smooths out fine lines. I’d also try an at-home peel once a week or whenever your skin needs a treat. Avon Anew Peel-Off facial Mask ($19.99, call 1800 646 000 for details) similarly contains hydroxy acids to deal with both acne and ageing concerns.

  1. I vouch for the Olay Total Effects for Blemish-Prone Skin Cleanser (quite a mouthful!), it gave beautiful results as well as keeping breakouts at bay.
