Generally makeup artists recommend a powder-finish foundation, as anything too liquidy or creamy can settle into pores. If you’re not a fan of the powder-finish, a really effective way to soften large pores is with a touch of Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector ($42 from Clinique).
