What gradual tanner would you recommend for fair skin? I’ve tried just about everything and they all give me some kind of orange hue.

Don’t you hate that? I’m quite fair too and can’t stand anything that’s anywhere near orange, yellow or gold – it just looks too glitzy on fair skin. Not to mention fake. I’ve always gone for St Tropez tans for this reason – they have a green base that not only counters any redness in skin (I don’t know about you, but my skin is also always blushed or blotchy) and also gives a really gorgeous bronzed – as opposed to golden – look. St Tropez’s gradual tanners – Everyday Tanning Body Moisturiser and Face Moisturiser, $29.95 each, from Adore Beauty – are beautiful buys. I’m also really loving Bloom’s newie: Gradual Tanning Lotion, $20, from Bloom. Although I actually prefer to use the Normal to Dark variant for greater impact.
