The Body Shop Buriti Baby

November 11, 2008

It’s enough to make even the uncluckiest girl go a little ooh and aah. This adorable new baby beauty range from The Body Shop is based on buriti oil, an oil from South America that’s rich in beta carotene, pro-vitamin A and essential fatty acids.

In true The Body Shop style, the star buy is the Body Butter ($27.95), which is also packed with organic olive oil and soya oil, shea butter, and aloe vera – all Community Traded ingredients. Designed to be massaged into baby skin, there’s nothing like making skin, well you know what.

The rest of the range is …

Body Lotion ($24.95): A light powdery-finish formulation that’s talc-free.
Baby Shampoo ($22.95): Super-gentle and pH-balanced.
Body Wash ($22.95): Added cocoa butter ups the care factor.
Massage Gel ($21.95): Features extra skin-loving oils, but in a mess-less formulation.
Ultra Soft Wash Cloth ($12.95): This too-cute embroidered washer is made from organically grown unbleached cotton.
Bamboo Hair Brush ($16.95): Super-soft renewably sourced bamboo bristles.

Available throughout this month from The Body Shop stores.
